Some of you may wonder what tools I use to keep up on copyright law.  Of course, copyright law has now become front page news, so keeping up with the basics is pretty easy.  I’ve put together a list of general cyberspace resources I use to keep up with my practice.  See  However, I use two specialized email resources to pick up copyright esoterica:

1) CNI-Copyright.  This moderated email list is filled with a mix of lawyers, librarians, publishers and copyright wonks.  The list can include basic questions from newbies, but primarily the list consists of highly technical discussions on arcane points of copyright law.  For more information and subscription procedures, see
